Tax Exemption on Direct Shipments
If you are shipping material direct from the vendor (located in Ohio) to your customer (located in Texas) and you have a Louisiana Resale Certificate is the sale taxable? Isn't that an out of state sale? The vendor wants to charge me Texas sales tax because I don't have a tax certificate for Texas. Help??

Re: Tax Exemption on Direct Shipments
This question is a bit out of my area of expertise, but I would tend to agree with the vendor. If the sale is being completed in Texas it would not surprise at all to find out that state wants to collect sales tax on it.
