medical deductions
I'm trying to do my medical deductions for my tax return I have to have spent just over $1,000 out of my pocket which i have but can I claim my kids doctors visits also?

Medical deduction
Yes, you may claim medical expenses for your children too, as long as they were your dependents for tax purposes at the time the medical services were received, or when they were paid for. See IRS Publication 502 for complete information on this topic.
