SSI and VA DISABILITY PENSION Empty SSI and VA DISABILITY PENSION

I am a 49 yr old male residing in ca. I receive SSI and I also receive a disability pension for a service connected injury while serving overseas I dont imagine i qualify for a refund, but do I still need to file?

SSI and VA DISABILITY PENSION Empty Need to file?

You will have to let me know if:

1. Was any tax withholding taken out of your SS income?

2. Did you receive a Form 1099 for the disability pension? If so, what was the taxable amount reported on the form? If so, did it having tax withholding?

Then I can give you a more informed answer.
