I filed a tax fraud claim about my former employer with the irs. I also sent a follow up letter to them asking for confirmation of their findings or any information I could relay to unemployment to help my case and I have not heard anything back. How can I get some information about my fraud claim from irs.

Fraud cases at IRS are handled carefully; they can not divulge what they are doing so they don't jeopardize their investigation. I would suggest that you enlist the services of the Taxpayer Advocate Service at IRS to be your contact person within the agency on this matter. They can tell you what you can be allowed to know, and will let you know when you will have to be patient and wait for the investigation conclude.
